Conference App.
This year all information as well as the book of abstracts will be made available in the conference app. To get access to this app, please sign up now, but before August 30th : http://www.vlag-courses.nl/nugo/
Note that access will be given manually and this made takes some days. The app is only available for those who are registered for the NuGOweek.
Arrival and departure:
NuGOweek 2018 starts on Monday 3rd September at 16:00 with registration
The formal opening is at: 17:30hrs
The closing session of NuGOweek 2018 starts on Thursday 6th September at 15:15hrs

Traveling by public transportWith a Metro station located at Newcastle International Airport, travelling by Metro couldn’t be easier.
Travelling to Newcastle city centreThe journey to Newcastle city centre – Central Station takes around 25 minutes. The Central Station is stop to use for the venue as well for hotel Crowne Plaza. There are trains every 12 minutes from approximately 5.44am (Sundays 6.27am) to 11.58pm.

Opening hours of the registration/information desk at the Centre of Life:
Monday 3rd September: 16:00-18:00 hrs and from
Tuesday 4th September: 08:30 – 09:15 hrs
During the whole conference we will be around as well to answer your questions.
Payment of the conference fee:
Please make sure that your payment has gone through. For last minute registrants, please bring a proof of payment with you. Payment on side can be done by credit card or in cash, only if agreed in advanced by the organisers.

* Tea and coffee will be served during the breaks.
* A welcome reception will be organized on Monday evening 3rd September
* Lunch will be provided on Tuesday 4th – Thursday 6th September
* Dinner will be provided on Wednesday 5th September (conference dinner).
Speakers:
A separate email with instructions will be send to you prior the conference.
Abstracts, Posters and Poster Prize:The book of abstracts will be is made in the conference app.
Posters will be presented in two sessions:
* Poster session 1: Tuesday September 4th from 12:30 – 14:00hrs (including lunch, starts at 13:00)
* Poster session 2: Wednesday September 5th from 12:10 – 14:00hrs (including lunch, starts at 13:00)
Mounting posters is on Monday 3rd September during registration. Authors must be present on the day their poster is being presented. Please stand next to your poster immediately at the start of the poster session. To determine which session your poster will presented, please visit: [Poster Session].
Posters will be evaluated on their scientific content. The prize winners for the poster sessions will be announced during the conference dinner on Wednesday 30th August.
Posters should be removed at the earliest/latest on Thursday morning before the coffee break.
Masterclass and General Assembly
The masterclass and General Assembly are closed meetings and participation is by invitation only.
Wireless information:
Wi-Fi is available in the conference venue.
Social activities:
* Excursions will be offered during the afternoon break on Tuesday 4th September. Options will be made available in due time and on site.
Bring comfortable shoes with you as all excursions will be made by foot.
*On Tuesday evening 4th September the NuGO Early Career Network will organise their annual social: A photo competition through Newcastle with free dinner for the winners!
* On Wednesday evening the conference dinner will be held at the Assembly Rooms from 19:30 onwards. Including a Ceilidh Band and the option to dance afterwards
