New ways to understand how foods affect me and my health
NuGO and NuGO ECN are pleased to announce the online launch of a new Frontiers for Young Minds Nutrigenomics Collection that seeks to bring our research to a new generation of young scientists:
New ways to understand how foods affect me and my health
From 1st February 2021, you will find the full collection description on Frontiers for Young Minds website (https://kids.frontiersin.org/collections) together with the links for article submission. This collection will comprise scientific articles focused on the latest research in the field of nutrigenomics from technologies to study design, rewritten for and reviewed by children and young people (8-15 years). At the heart of the collection is the application of nutrigenomics as a basis to personalize nutritional advice for individuals and at a public health level. The collection is organized by NuGO and the NuGO Early Career Network (ECN), with a number of NuGO-affiliated authors already selected for participation in the collection.
Becoming a Frontiers for Young Minds Science Mentor
Frontiers for Young Minds relies on the passion and enthusiasm of Science Mentors who act as the link between authors and the young reviewers to support a successful peer review by children and young people. Science mentors play a key role for Frontiers for Young Minds collections by engaging with kids to help them understand the peer review process and gain the tools of reading information with a critical eye. If you are interested in being a Science Mentor for our collection, please get in touch by sending an email to: [email protected]
